Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, part of PACCAR, seeks an energetic NVH and Ride Vehicle Performance Test Engineer in the Vehicle Properties and Performance group to conduct NVH and Ride tests on Peterbilt and competitor products. You'll baseline, benchmark, and develop concepts for performance improvements.

In this role you will quantify product performance, lead test plans, and advance research and development from concept to prototype.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Head Acoustics, Siemens Test Lab, and/or Muller-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme.
• CDL-A or strong desire to obtain CDL-A preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in the planning and execution of test plans.
• Instrument and de-instrument test articles.
• Direct and/or conduct research, concept development, and evaluations.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to reveal root causes, generate reports, and present findings to management.
