Job summary

iCare Health Network in Manchester, CT is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee nursing staff, ensure quality care, and collaborate with the DNS and administration.

The role requires RN licensure in CT, leadership in long-term care, and a focus on training and clinical competency. This is a Monday-Friday on-site management position with a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in CT required.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes required.
• BSN/ADN/ADS degree in nursing.
• Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing staff to ensure standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments.
• Lead facility rounds and monitor resident status.
• Maintain awareness of resident clinical care issues.
• Instruct clinical staff in resident care and provide leadership.
• Assist DNS with training nursing staff to meet competency levels.
• Oversee RN Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and CNAs daily.
