Job summary

Fiberhire is seeking an experienced LTC Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to provide strong clinical leadership within our long-term care community in Boston, MA. This full-time day shift (9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to lead a dedicated nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active MA RN or LPN license with 2–3 years in long-term care and prior charge nurse or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN or LPN license in good standing.
• 2–3 years of long-term care experience.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DPH requirements, and the MDS process.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with PCC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate daily staffing needs, schedules, and unit workflow.
• Ensure CMS regulations, DPH standards, and facility policies compliance.
• Review and monitor resident care plans, documentation, and clinical records.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care needs.
• Evaluate nursing practices and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with infection control protocols, QAPI programs, and other initiatives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training for nursing staff.
• Participate in management meetings and regulatory survey preparation.
