Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services seeks a Supervising Registered Nurse II, Correctional Facility, to plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the nursing staff in a service line. The SRN II CF will disseminate and monitor policies, apply supervisory rules, resolve personnel issues, and ensure continuity of quality patient care.

This role supports the Complete Care Model. Applicants must complete the required background investigation and TB testing; foreign credentials must be evaluated

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities across a nursing team.
• Knowledge of policy dissemination and quality care standards.
• Ability to plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate staff performance.

• Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of nursing and other staff in a service line delivery area.
• Disseminate and monitor adherence to policies and procedures.
• Apply supervisory principles, resolve personnel issues, set goals, and ensure continuity of quality patient care.
