Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a Coordinator Nurse Practitioner in Cardiothoracic Surgery to lead the CT NP team alongside physicians and administrative leadership.

The role combines hands-on clinical duties with leadership, mentoring NP colleagues, and driving quality and educational initiatives within a busy CTICU and Stepdown units; day shifts with some evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• NYS RN license and NP license (Adult, Acute Care or Family).
• ANCC board certification required.
• BLS and ACLS from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Cardiothoracic Surgery NP team and collaborate with physicians and leadership.
• Support patient care across CTICU and Stepdown units.
• Lead clinical excellence initiatives and mentor NP colleagues.
• Flexibility for day shifts with some evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
