Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for Acute Psychiatric Services. The role oversees patient care on assigned shifts, supports nursing staff, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The ANM promotes quality patient care, safety, and satisfaction, guiding policy execution and staff development. Requires NJ RN license and two years' progressive nursing experience, including psychiatric settings.

Formación

• Two (2) years of progressively more responsible nursing experience, one (1) of which shall have been in the service to which the candidate is applying.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assures admission nursing assessments and ongoing risk assessments.
• Supervises staff in evaluating and delivering care.
• Assists with patient care as needed.
• Facilitates communication across departments to improve care quality.
• Interprets nursing concepts for service delivery.
• Plans safe staffing based on patient acuity.
• Manages resources and budget for the units.
• Demonstrates professional conduct and teamwork.
