Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME, is seeking an Assistant Manager of Nursing for Interventional Services. This full-time role leads shift operations, collaborates with the Nurse Manager, and ensures delivery of high-quality, compliant patient care in a fast-paced unit from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Applicants must hold a BSN, Maine RN licensure, and 3 years of clinical experience, with preferred telemetry/CCU and prior charge nurse leadership.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maine.
• BSN required; 3 years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained before independent patient care.
• Recommended experience in cardiac telemetry & CCU; leadership experience as a Charge nurse or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily shift activities of the nursing unit.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager on unit operations.
• Sets daily and monthly staff schedules under leadership.
• Provides clinical guidance, mentorship, and staff development.
• Participates in hiring, training, and performance management.
