Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT, with occasional coverage at Wallingford Imaging and Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain/Plainville. The role leads daily operations, mentors staff, and ensures quality diagnostic imaging.

The position requires experience in nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and adherence to NRC and SNMMI guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JRCNMT accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Certification through NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• CPR certification.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine department.
• Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Mentors staff and ensures compliance with NRC, TJC, and SNMMI guidelines.
• Coordinates staffing, safety, and quality control activities.
