Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Monmouth Medical Center in Tinton Falls, NJ. The role leads PET/CT imaging, administers radiopharmaceuticals, and ensures radiation safety and QA compliance.

You will coordinate workflow and support staff in a fast-paced radiology department. The position requires an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology with NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, BLS, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• Current NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.
• PET Fusion certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1–3 years nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures per protocols.
• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety and QA requirements.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform QA testing.
• Review histories and requests to ensure appropriate procedures.
• Monitor patients and provide education during imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate outcomes.
• Assist with workflow coordination and departmental initiatives as lead technologist.
