Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Nuclear Services Group in the United States. You will lead electrical design from concept through field execution on critical nuclear and federal projects, mentoring teams and coordinating across disciplines.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 10+ years of electrical design experience, and proven communication skills. Some roles may be performed remotely in select U.S. states, with travel for field work as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with design of electrical systems.
• Experience working on Nuclear design projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation, lead cross-disciplinary collaboration, and guide projects from design to field execution.
• Interface with various engineering disciplines and understand project roles.
• Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates.
• Develop equipment procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment.
• Perform electrical calculations and solve complex technical problems.
• Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up.
• Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals.
