Job summary

NorthStar Psychiatry in Eugene, OR seeks a Nurse Practitioner to lead an interventional psychiatry program. You will oversee Spravato® REMS compliance, TMS treatment planning, and IV Ketamine infusions, while supervising a care team and managing patient safety.

The role emphasizes diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and REMS supervision with a daytime schedule and no major holiday calls. On-site training is available for springboarding into REMS/TMS modalities.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon NP license (PMHNP/FNP/AGACNP/AGNP)
• Active DEA registration and NPI number
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years NP experience in psychiatry or interventional settings
• Hands-on IV therapy/IV access experience
• Demonstrated supervisory or clinical oversight capabilities
• Strong diagnostic and management of acute physical/psychiatric events
• Spravato REMS or TMS experience preferred; on-site training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-treatment assessments to determine eligibility for Spravato®, TMS, and IV Ketamine.
• Direct and supervise clinical staff delivering Spravato® sessions, TMS treatments, and IV Ketamine infusions.
• Oversee REMS compliance, patient safety protocols, and discharge authorization.
• Assist with or perform peripheral IV access for difficult starts.
• Evaluate and manage acute adverse events and side effects during treatment.
