Job Summary: Oversees and performs custodial duties to clean, maintain, and secure assigned school facilities.

Essential Functions:

• Performs and/or leads custodial work, supervises entry-level personnel, and trains new employees.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms, kitchens, and other areas.
• Participates in cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, window washing, floor waxing, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Assists with setup and cleanup for events and activities.
• Performs security checks and ensures school is secure for the night.
• Performs minor maintenance repairs and assists with moving equipment and supplies.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and orders as needed.
• Available for emergency calls and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of custodial care and cleaning chemicals.
• Leadership and training skills.
• Supervision and management principles.
• Skills in cleaning, equipment use, and work performance evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, and two years of custodial experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Pass background checks.
• Valid Arizona driver license.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate equipment.
• May require work outside normal hours and travel.
