Job description

A lead monitors and supervises a set of employees directly beneath them and reports their performance to their manager. The lead motivates and inspires the team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of the team, and demonstrates flexibility.

Shift: Lead Night Cleaner

General Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise a team of employees, reporting performance to management.
• Create a positive work environment that fosters communication, team bonding, and flexibility.

Shift Details:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Pay: $22.25 per hour

Specific Duties / Essential Functions:

• Oversee daily team activities and ensure maintenance tasks are completed per company policies.
• Promote safety by adhering to safety guidelines.
• Train new personnel.
• Conduct inspections and communicate findings to management.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning products and tools.
• Enforce dress code compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Manage supply inventory and maintain janitor's closet and equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in English is recommended for effective communication.
• Open availability for overtime, schedule adjustments, and holiday work.
• Proof of work authorization required, including completing I-9 and E-Verify processes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for entire shift, with walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Lift up to 35 lbs; carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum.
• Good hygiene practices required.
