Job summary

Precision Neuroscience is seeking a highly motivated Staff Neuroscientist with a deep background in neuro-engineering to lead the discovery and development of our next-generation brain–computer interface systems. You will sit at the intersection of biology and engineering, ensuring our hardware and algorithms are optimized for the complexities of the human brain.

You will move research from concept to clinical translation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience or related quantitative field.
• Post-PhD research or industry experience in neural interfaces.
• Experience with high-density electrophysiology (ECoG or penetrating arrays) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and conceptualization of next-generation Layer 7 systems.
• Design and drive animal and clinical protocols to validate safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize device design and decoding algorithms.
• Analyze electrophysiological data to inform engineering decisions.
• Serve as the scientific bridge between clinical and engineering teams.
• Support regulatory filings and documentation as we scale clinical efforts.
