Job summary

WashU Medicine Neurology seeks a faculty member at the assistant, associate or professor level to serve as associate director of the Neuromuscular Clinical Lab (NMCL). The NMCL, CLIA/CAP-certified, provides subspecialty diagnostic testing and collaborates with Barnes-JJ St. Louis Children’s Hospitals.

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD or DCLS required.
• CAP regulatory work experience essential.
• Experience validating and implementing new lab methods.
• Strong interpersonal, teaching and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee select NMCL services, including diagnostic immunology and biomarker testing.
• Lead regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in local and system-level decisions; engage in research.
• Mentor fellows and residents; contribute to education.
