Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an Associate Director for the Neuromuscular Clinical Lab within the Department of Neurology. The candidate will oversee select NMCL services, with emphasis on CAP/regulatory work, QC/QA data, and quality improvements.

The role includes clinical, translational, and/or basic science research participation and mentoring of fellows. Ideal applicants hold an MD, PhD, or DCLS, with demonstrated regulatory experience and collaboration across clinical sites.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or DCLS required with subspecialty lab experience.
• Experience with CAP accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to mentor fellows and residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee diagnostic immunology and biomarker testing with CAP/regulatory focus.
• Lead quality improvement projects and QC/QA data evaluation.
