Job summary

Harbor Health in Texas seeks a Board-Certified Neurologist to join the ambulatory team in Austin or San Antonio, helping to design new models for neurological care that integrate AI, the Athena EHR, and value-based payment structures.

You will lead clinical pathways, collaborate with primary care, manage population health metrics, and mentor APPs while delivering high-quality neurological care within a payvider framework.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program.
• Board certification in Neurology by ABPN.
• Active Texas Medical License or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
• Commitment to team-based, value-based care and population health management.
• Comfort with digital health tools and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurological care in ambulatory settings across in-person, virtual, and phone visits.
• Lead design/refinement of care pathways and order sets within our AI system and Athena EHR to ensure standardized care.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver integrated, team-based care.
• Provide Clinician-to-Clinician (C2C) e-consultations to streamline care.
• Engage in population health management for screening and treatment of neurology conditions.
• Oversee specialty-aligned APPs to extend service capacity.
• Own KPIs (ER diversion, time-to-first appointment, Total Cost of Care reduction) and report outcomes to leadership.
