Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an EEG Technician in Boise, Idaho. The role involves performing electrode setup and EEG monitoring per ABRET standards, delivering descriptive analyses, and supporting staff education under facility policies.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Neurodiagnostic program preferred, and at least 3 years of experience with current EEG registration and BLS certification. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: HSD or equivalent; Neurodiagnostic Program preferred.
• Experience: 3 years in EEG or neurodiagnostic setting.
• License/Certification: R EEG T and BLS from recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and apply electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring per ABRET standards.
• Perform EEG modalities independently and provide findings, results, and a descriptive analysis.
• Assist in developing and delivering continuing education for staff in collaboration with management.
• Serve as a role model, resource and mentor for neurodiagnostic technologists.
• Oversee and participate in the orientation and training of new staff.

• Full Time with benefits
• 12-hour shifts
• Sign on bonus plus relocation incentive
• Performs set-up and application of electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring according to ABRET standards.
• Performs all modalities of EEG independently and provides findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to the facility policy and procedures
• Assists in developing and delivering continuing education for staff in collaboration with management.
• Serves as a role model, resource and mentor for neurodiagnostic technologists
• Oversee and participate in the orientation and training of new staff

Qualifications

• Education: HSD or equivalent, completion of Neurodiagnostic Program preferred
• Experience: 3 years relevant experience
• License/Certification: Current registered EEG Technologist (R EEG T) and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
