Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build tooling that automates the network lifecycle across data centers as we expand in APAC and collaborate with Europe. You will code hands-on, shape architecture, and begin growing the regional engineering team.

Own end-to-end delivery of network automation, observability, and safe deployment workflows, while partnering with network engineers and SREs worldwide. Requires 7+ years and strong Go or Python skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with team leadership experience.
• Strong Go or Python coding skills and ownership mindset.
• Ability to operate autonomously in early-stage environments.
• Willingness to grow a regional engineering team.
• Interest in infrastructure and networking.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain services and tooling for network lifecycle automation.
• Make network changes safe with CI/CD workflows and audit trails.
• Develop observability systems for multi-site scale.
• Integrate data between network and platform and expose APIs.
• Own architecture decisions for APAC region and align with Europe.
• Collaborate with network engineers and SREs to turn pain into tooling.
• Hire and onboard the first engineers in APAC and set standards.
