Job summary

Wollborg Michelson Recruiting is seeking an experienced Network Engineer Lead to guide design, strategy, and operations of complex enterprise networks. The role focuses on Cisco Nexus platforms, LAN/WAN administration, and documentation of network changes.

The ideal candidate brings advanced routing/security knowledge, cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and a track record leading large projects. Strong leadership and problem solving are essential for timely connectivity resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least five years of networking experience; seven+ years preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco).
• Cloud networking experience with Azure or AWS; SD-WAN experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead network design, strategy, and infrastructure implementation.
• Design, configure, and administer LAN and WAN technologies.
• Manage network infrastructure using Cisco Nexus platforms.
• Document network changes and maintain diagrams.
• Resolve connectivity issues and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Configure, monitor, secure, and manage network hardware/software.
• Lead and support large-scale networking projects.
