LEAD Network Engineer - Contract to hire (perm after 90 days) - REMOTE 100%!!!

Skills/Duties:

1. 5-7+ years’ experience with data network (LAN/WAN/WLAN) administration in Cisco and Fortinet environments, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining interconnected networks across multiple locations.
2. Configure, support, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, F5 Big-IP load balancers, Cisco IOS and NX-OS switches, FortiNAC, ensuring all changes are communicated in compliance with change control policies.
3. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, including being available after hours and on weekends to assist with issues.
4. Operate and configure network monitoring and configuration management software to detect anomalies, perform fault detection, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports to meet service level requirements.
5. Network+ and/or CCNA certification preferred.
6. Experience with ticketing and monitoring tools required.
7. Experience with FortiClient, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiEMS.
8. Experience with FortiGate Firewalls and F5 Big-IP.
9. Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity.
10. Proficient in using Microsoft Visio to diagram network configurations.
11. Familiarity with Meraki Firewalls.
