Job summary

Randstad Digital seeks a Senior .NET/C# Developer to lead hands-on development in an Agile setting. The role is part of the Online Security Technologies team, responsible for designing, building, and supporting a mission-critical Authentication platform.

The position involves 50% design and 50% development, collaborating with experienced engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality software releases. Based in Austin, Texas, with contract employment and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of hands-on application programming and/or test automation framework experience within an Agile development environment.
• Proficient in software development using .NET technologies.
• At least 3 years of leadership delivering and driving adoption of technical innovations across teams.
• Experience with databases like MongoDB and Aerospike.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, certificate-based authentication, and Ping Identity solutions.
• Testing RESTful web services using test automation frameworks; SOAP experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and CI/CD (e.g., Bamboo).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues via logs, dashboards, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of organizational software products through QA, UAT, and Production phases.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Provide accurate development sizing and cost estimates with Scrum Master and product owner.
• Work with team on story decomposition, feature design, and task prioritization.
• Utilize automated testing tools and test-driven development to uphold quality standards.
• Support Identity and credential management systems for Authentication between internal and external client systems.
• Resolve roadblocks in collaboration with the Scrum Master.
• Coordinate team deliverables for successful releases.
• Identify technology risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct code quality reviews with onshore and offshore developers focusing on requirements and design.
• Prototype and develop tailored applications to meet business needs.
