Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced NDT Level III for a full-time role in a precision manufacturing environment in Illinois.

You will lead radiographic and penetrant inspections, ensuring quality and compliance while supporting production, engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive NDT program leadership experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing, plus Level III certification in RT and PT.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading NDT programs in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with audits and customer requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• ASNT/NAS 410 knowledge preferred.

Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

A client of ours is looking for an experienced NDT Level III to lead non‑destructive testing activities within a precision manufacturing operation. This individual will serve as the technical expert for radiographic and penetrant inspection, ensuring quality standards are met while supporting production, engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical leadership for RT and PT inspection programs
• Develop and improve inspection methods, procedures, and training materials
• Qualify, mentor, and maintain certifications for NDT personnel
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to investigate inspection concerns and improve manufacturing processes
• Oversee equipment qualification, calibration, and process validation
• Support customer audits and ensure compliance with aerospace and special process requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience leading NDT programs in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Level III certification in Radiographic and Penetrant Testing (ASNT/NAS 410 preferred)
• Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems, special process controls, and industry specifications
• Proven leadership, communication, and technical decision‑making abilities
• Experience supporting audits, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
