Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. seeks a Nondestructive (NDT) Evaluation Engineer Level III Lead to support NSWC Carderock with experimental design and trade-off studies. Requires extensive NDT&E knowledge, and the ability to review specifications, producibility, and testability.

Minimum ten years in NDT&E methods and five years in design/research processes are required; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are necessary. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Advanced engineering degree can substitute for one year of experience.
• NDT&E knowledge of NAVSEA/NDT specs and industry standards.
• Ten years of experience in one or more NDT&E methods.
• Five years of experience in experimental design and trade-off studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical review and consultation on adequacy of specifications, producibility, and cost control.
• Assist RDT&E activities with nondestructive evaluation considerations.
• Support design reviews and trade-off studies.
• Obtain and maintain required security clearances.
