Job summary

Delphinus Engineering is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to support US Navy tasking, delivering environmental system design, qualification, and lifecycle support for HM&E shipboard applications. You will lead teams, engage with sponsors, and provide solutions to Navy customers.

The role requires strong leadership, field experience in maritime programs, and adherence to NAVSEA and MIL-STD standards; travel up to 20% to Delphinus offices, facilities, or ships.

Qualifications

• Experience designing shipboard waste management systems and P2A equipment.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration in naval programs.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA standards and MIL-STDs.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer needs and technical requirements for Navy systems.
• Design waste management solutions and advise on design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and shipboard systems.
• Support lifecycle maintenance and upgrades for Navy equipment.
• Lead reviews and mentor junior engineers across teams.
• Provide root cause analysis and ensure adherence to NAVSEA standards.
