Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Musical Theatre or closely related field.
• Ability to teach undergraduate Musical Theatre performance.
• Ability to mentor students and develop curriculum.
• Experience directing Musical Theatre productions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Musical Theatre courses from introductory to advanced levels (performance, scene study, audition techniques, history, etc).
• Teach beginning and intermediate acting and introductory directing as appropriate.
• Mentor BFA Musical Theatre and Acting students in academic and career planning.
• Prepare students for professional auditions and showcases in various musical theatre styles.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and program growth.
• Recruit promising students and participate in recruitment activities.
