Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician at Canton Mill Lofts to support daily maintenance operations and ensure all systems function efficiently. You will assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and move-in readiness while leading with safety and quality standards.

The role requires HVAC certification and offers opportunities for growth, on-call rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package aligned with our Venterra standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Experience in multifamily property maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Lifting/carrying demands: >75 lbs rarely; 25–75 lbs occasionally; 1–25 lbs constant.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders promptly with quality service and 24/48-hour guarantees where applicable.
• Perform maintenance and repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structures).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of equipment, tools, and common areas.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents under the TQMR program.
• Work independently while upholding company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain property standards.
