Job summary

Sares Regis Group in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor II to oversee apartment maintenance, supervise staff and contractors, and ensure repairs meet standards for our Oak & Iron community. The role requires coordinating renovations, budgeting support, and after-hours availability.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in property maintenance supervision, proficiency across trades, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

2 years of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Experience in all trades required.
Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills.
Past supervisory experience is required.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Directs employees and outside contractors in renovations, service requests, structural repairs and grounds maintenance.
Obtain bids from outside contractors and submit to superiors for action.
Order and receive supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.
Coordinate work by outside vendors and inspect for conformance to specs.
Inspect facilities and equipment to determine needs and resources, analyze schedules.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Suggest changes to improve efficiency and safety.
Assist Property Manager with maintenance budget planning.
Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as needed.
