Job summary

Embark Recruiting Solutions partners with a growing Cincinnati-based general contractor to hire a Construction Superintendent for multifamily projects. The role oversees day-to-day field operations, coordinates subcontractors, maintains schedules, and enforces safety and quality standards to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction experience, particularly in multifamily, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably multifamily.
• Experience supervising multifamily projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership and supervision for multifamily projects.
• Manage daily activities from site prep to turnover.
• Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and onsite personnel.
• Enforce safety, quality and building code compliance.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and track progress.
• Maintain daily reports and project records.
