Job summary

The Lead Multi-Modality Technologist at 61st Street Service Corporation will coordinate operations across CT, MRI, and PET/Nuclear Medicine, leading a technologist team and ensuring QA and patient safety. You will manage staff, review studies, and support regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in imaging with at least 2 years in a senior/lead technologist role.
• NYS License and ARRT certification; multiple modality registry.
• BLS certification; strong leadership and SOP development experience.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and interact with staff, vendors, and faculty.
• Perform CT, MRI, and/or PET/Nuclear Medicine imaging and related procedures.
• Review orders for appropriateness and consult radiologists when needed.
• Position patients and select options for high-quality imaging.
• Monitor patient status and coordinate with care teams during procedures.
• Administer contrast media as directed and ensure patient safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; track QA and logs.
• Train and delegate tasks to technologists; conduct competency assessments.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for technologists.
• Maintain SOPs and participate in QC and regulatory activities.
