The role involves bench validation of I2C/I3C protocols and post-silicon support, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to work with cutting-edge DDR5 enablement devices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in post-silicon digital ASIC bench validation, Python-based lab automation, and strong knowledge of I2C/I3C protocols; B.S. or M.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of post-silicon digital ASIC bench validation experience.
• Experience with I2C/I3C protocols and lab automation in Python.

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Lead MTSApplicationEngineer to join our Memory Interface team in San Jose California. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Lead MTSApplicationengineer, the candidate will be reporting toDirectorofApplication andValidation and is a Full-Time position. The engineer will work ondevelopingthevalidation environment across bench and systemforperformance specification compliance using ourDDR5 enablement devices (SPD/TS/PMIC). The engineer will require experience invalidationofdigital ASICandI2C/I3C protocols.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracinga hybrid approach formostoffice-basedroles.Employeesare encouragedtospend an average of at leastthree days per weekonsite,allowing fortwodaysof remote work.

Responsibilities

• Benchcharacterization andvalidationofI2C/I3C protocols.

• Developingpython scripts for bench automation.

• Support customers in understanding and resolving their issues.

• Provide post silicon bring-up support, interface with design, operation, and development.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineeringor Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience inpost-silicon digital ASIC benchvalidation.
• Experience with lab automationinPython.
• Experience working withI2C/I3C protocols.
• Knowledge ofPower Electronicsis a bonus.
