Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, seeks a Lead MTSApplication Engineer to join the Memory Interface team in San Jose, CA. This full-time role involves validating DDR5 enablement devices and developing bench automation scripts, with emphasis on I2C/I3C protocols and post-silicon support.

The position offers a hybrid work model with on-site and remote days, and a compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of post-silicon digital ASIC bench validation.
• Experience with lab automation in Python.
• Experience working with I2C/I3C protocols.
• Knowledge of Power Electronics is a bonus.
• New graduates with digital design/validation or power electronics background are welcome to apply.

Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Lead MTSApplicationengineer, the candidate will be reporting toDirectorofApplication andValidation and is a Full-Time position. The engineer will work ondevelopingthevalidation environment across bench and systemforperformance specification compliance using ourDDR5 enablement devices (SPD/TS/PMIC). The engineer will require experience invalidationofdigital ASICandI2C/I3C protocols.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracinga hybrid approach formostoffice-basedroles.Employeesare encouragedtospend an average of at leastthree days per weekonsite,allowing fortwodaysof remote work.

• The US salary range for this full-time position is $117,300 to $167,500.
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
• The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
