Job summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to lead the imaging team in a high-volume MRI program in Colorado. This frontline leadership role involves performing advanced MRI procedures, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring compliance with professional and facility standards.

You will mentor staff and act as supervisor in the manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an ARRT or ARMRIT program; 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be MRSO certified or certified within one year.
• Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(MR) or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality imaging across full range of MRI exams with attention to patient comfort and protocol adherence.
• Corroborate clinical history with imaging procedures and ensure complete documentation for interpretation.
• Oversee daily MRI workflow and technologist assignments.
• Serve as the primary resource for MRI-related inquiries and troubleshoot equipment/procedural issues.
• Enforce MRI safety protocols and screen for safety contraindications.
• Perform data post-processing, archival storage, and secure documentation of studies.
