Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Lead MR Technologist to oversee MRI operations, coordinate daily workflow, and support accreditation readiness across University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, and ambulatory imaging locations.

You will supervise technologists, assess performance for merit increases, orient new staff, and perform MRI procedures as needed, while ensuring patient education and high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Current Radiography license (ODH) is required.
• Advanced Registry in MRI is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the modality relevant to lead duties.
• Associates degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and patient flow for MR imaging.
• Provide quality assessment activities and accreditation preparedness.
• Orient new staff and assess technologists’ performance for merit increases.
• Perform MRI procedures as needed and educate patients.
