Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking an MRI Lead with strong leadership to oversee MRI staff and services on the 1.0 FTE Day shift with weekend rotation. The role requires ARRT MRI certification, five years MRI experience, and BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in MRI protocols and patient management.
• Ensures quality controls meet manufacturer requirements.
• Trains and assesses staff competency in MRI protocols.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations and compliance including ACR requirements.
• Manages service and preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and contrast.
• Monitors budget metrics and workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay - $40.60 to $60.89 (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Registered by the ARRT, certified in MRI
• Five years MRI experience
• Excellent communication skills
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

• Ensures all quality controls and quality parameters meet manufacturer requirements.
• Demonstrates proficiency in training and assessing staff competency in MRI protocols, including coordination of orientation and training, timely completion of competencies, communication of progress, and annual performance evaluations.
• Maintains knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, including completion of ACR requirements.
• Manages service and preventive maintenance for equipment, including notification of downtime and patient schedules.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and contrast.
• Monitors budget metrics
• Establishes processes to optimize workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.
