Job description

Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Provides technical expertise and training to technologists in the department. Interacts with designated radiologists on protocol development, implementation, and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring QC/QA is performed as required and coordinating patient flow to provide a safe, high-quality experience for patients. Coaches and mentors staff on safe, high-quality patient service. Performs a variety of tasks and procedures requiring independent judgment, including all types of MRI examinations.

Required Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
• National Provider BLS certification - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
• At least 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist
• At least 2 years experience as an MRI technologist
