Job summary

Paramount Residential Mortgage Group Inc. (PRMG) is hiring Lead Processors for our Retail team to support increasing loan volume. This role involves processing loans per policy, mentoring growth, and enabling advancement within PRMG.

The Lead Processor will handle daily processing tasks, verify data, order verifications, and coordinate with underwriting and closing teams to ensure timely loan approvals and closings.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of active loan processing experience.
• Prior management skills recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies, compiles, and inputs/updates application information for mortgage loans.
• Reviews residential loan application file to verify data completeness and standards.
• Recommends loan denial or restructuring when necessary.
• Runs AUS after data confirmation to ensure guidelines compliance.
• Orders verifications (income, assets, credit, liabilities).
• Completes loan application forms/disclosures for borrowers.
• Orders title work, insurance, condo docs, appraisals, and related items.
• Follows up on items required for loan approval in a timely manner.
• Informs supervisor/Loan Originator of discrepancies in documentation.
• Submits mortgage loan file for underwriting approval.
• Types and emails/mails approval and denial letters.
• Submits approved files to closing departments and settlement agents.
• Uses required Checklists for Underwriting and Closing.
• Keeps records/pipeline reports for branch loans and statuses.
• Communicates effectively with borrower/Loan Originator about missing/delayed docs.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Submits conditions to UW.
• Oversees Jr LP & LP duties if applicable.
• Assists branch in training new staff if applicable.
