Job summary

Waukesha County Park System is seeking a Lead Park Seasonal to support Moor Downs Golf Course in Waukesha, WI. The role involves early morning maintenance tasks and delivering excellent customer experiences to golfers and visitors.

Typical hours include a 5:00am start with part-time or full-time options, with weekends possibly required. Successful candidates will have basic labor experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• 8th grade education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Some recent unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor involving maintenance, construction and repair of golf course facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor involving the maintenance, construction and repair of golf course facilities.
• Operates mowers, tractors and other maintenance equipment; uses hand and power tools; assists in routine maintenance of equipment.
• Cleans restrooms and outhouses and picks up litter around courses.
• Waters, mows, weed trims, renovates and fertilizes lawns; trims trees and shrubs; plants trees, flowers and shrubs; coordinates with others on course upkeep.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
