Job summary

Montessori Unlimited in Minnesota is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide mixed-age preschoolers using authentic Montessori materials and methods. You will create engaging lessons, mentor fellow teachers, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines.

This full-time role offers pay between $17.31 and $17.99 per hour, health insurance, paid time off, 401K with company match, education assistance, and a Monday-Friday work week. You will work indoors and outdoors with energetic, curious children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
