Job summary

Apogee North Texas in Flower Mound, TX seeks a Lead Montessori Teacher for a mixed-aged class (4–7) to start August 2026. The program operates as a hybrid home‑school with on‑campus instruction Tue–Thu and home learning Mon, Fri.

Responsibilities include morning academics, project‑based afternoons, and family communication. The candidate should have Montessori certification or 3–4 years of Montessori classroom experience; first aid/CPR are a plus.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification preferred; 3–4 years Montessori classroom experience accepted in lieu of certification
• Experience in Montessori or project-based classroom required
• First aid and CPR certification preferred but not required
• High academic expectations; foster student responsibility and independence

Responsibilities

• Lead morning academics for up to 18 students aged 4–7
• Plan and run afternoon hands-on projects, life skills and activities
• Track student progress through mastery and portfolios
• Prepare students for public showcases and presentations to parents
• Communicate regularly with families
• Attend a 1‑hour weekly staff planning session
