Affiliated with the American Montessori Society for over 25 years, Love of Learning Montessori has offered traditional non-denominational Montessori instruction in a wooded setting on Centerport Harbor. Serving 110 children, Love of Learning is devoted to developing students’ self‑motivation, independence, curiosity, and cooperation. Unique to our curriculum is the use of our 15-acre outdoor wooded space, used both for instruction, recess, and family events. The woods and the shore are our hallways. Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Lead Montessori Teachers to lead our Montessori classrooms with passion, creativity, and a deep commitment to fostering children's holistic development. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Montessori principles and practices, excellent leadership skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Qualifications

Candidates without certification should be receptive to engaging in classroom mentorship and commencing their Montessori training before transitioning into the position of a full lead teacher.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in education, child development, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a lead teacher in a classroom setting.
• Passion for Montessori Education: Genuine enthusiasm for Montessori philosophy and methods, with a deep understanding of child development principles.
