Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree defined by ASCP or equivalent.
• ASCP MT/MLS certification or eligible before 2004 (grandfathering).

Responsibilities

• Performs staff Medical Technologist duties.
• Follows procedures for collecting and processing biological specimens.
• Provides technical oversight to testing ensuring accuracy.
• Establishes and maintains quality control and performance improvement documentation.
• Leads, orients, and trains staff and students.
• Reviews and documents quality control and QA programs.
