Job summary

Phillips Medisize in Maumelle, AR seeks a Toolmaker to lead complex mold builds and oversee the full mold manufacturing process. You will assemble, disassemble, and set up tools, including CNC equipment, while ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with apprentices, engineers, and other mold makers to repair and revise tooling and support subcontractors as needed. This role strengthens the US Tool Build team and production quality.

Qualifications

• Associate/Technical degree in machine tooling or 2+ years in mold & die maintenance, injection molding, or operations.
• Knowledge of part and component drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide support by building molds to support new manufacturing business; ensure timing and communication efficiency.
• Assemble and disassemble all components required in mold manufacturing process.
• Set up and operate tool room equipment, including manual and/or CNC.
• Provide information to assist subcontracting services.
• Support other mold makers, apprentices, and engineers.
• Build, repair and revise secondary tooling.
• Troubleshoot and assemble manifold system.
• Maintain tools/tooling area in proper working and safe condition.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines in the tool room.
