We’re partnering with an established injection molding manufacturer seeking a Tool Maker in South Carolina.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced mold/tooling professional who wants job security, room to grow, and the chance to make a real impact. The company has been around since the 1960s, has a worldwide footprint, and is known for taking care of its people. The facility is looking for someone who can bring deep tooling expertise to an active molding floor. The molds and equipment are older, so this role is a great fit for someone who likes troubleshooting, repair work, root cause analysis, and keeping production moving. For the right person, there is also future growth potential into department leadership.
You’ll support the tool room and molding floor by keeping molds running, solving issues, and helping bring stronger structure to the department.
Key areas of focus include:
You are a hands-on mold maker who knows how to troubleshoot, fix problems, and keep production moving. You do well in environments where not everything is perfect, but there is real opportunity to improve it. You are confident working with older molds, manual machinery, and an active molding floor where priorities can shift quickly. You are the type of person who can lead the fix, not just point out the issue. You bring urgency, practical experience, and pride in doing the work right.
This role is important because the facility needs strong tooling expertise to support production, improve mold reliability, and reduce downtime. You’ll be joining a highly tenured team in a company with long-term stability and growth potential. The work is hands-on, visible, and directly tied to keeping the molding floor running. For someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and becoming a go-to tooling expert, this is a role where your experience will be valued immediately.
