Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Mobile Inspector to perform expert-level vehicle inspections on client lots and to maintain strong client relationships. The role requires independent work, travel up to 100%, and accurate documentation of vehicle conditions using inspection systems.

Responsibilities include audits, reconciliations, and assisting junior inspectors, with daily activity reporting and the use of Salesforce for performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Previous vehicle inspection experience and automotive knowledge is required, body and mechanical.
• 2-3 years of any automotive-related experience is strongly preferred.
• 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections recommended.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Travel 100% – Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough vehicle inspection at an expert level.
• Perform area audits through a physical count of client vehicles and an audit of dealer records.
• Reconcile dealer and Cox counts and facilitate payments where applicable.
• Pivot to changes in daily appointments to maximize efficiency.
• Develop knowledge of clients and maintain active engagement with Manheim mobile inspections.
