Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior ML Software Engineer to join the Data Science Enablement team. You will own design, development, and deployment of ML features, collaborating with product managers, ML researchers, and platform engineers to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions in production.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, improve CI/CD, monitoring, and code quality, and help evolve the shared ML platform while navigating ambiguity to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an ML-focused software engineer with production experience.
• Proven ML model deployment, API design, and production integration.
• Strong Python programming and ML/data libraries.
• Experience with containers, orchestration, and AWS.
• Experience with OpenAPI, FastAPI, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy new ML features with cross-functional teams.
• Own production ML products and ensure alignment with business goals.
• End-to-end technical stewardship for reliability and performance.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing, monitoring.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Provide guidance to engineers and data scientists.
• Mentor and coach team members.
