Apple, Inc. is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer for Human Sensing in Seattle. You will anchor technical direction for multimodal identity perception, spanning dataset strategy, evaluation frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration across Data, Evaluation, and Platform teams.

You will lead model optimization for on-device performance, mentor engineers, and drive KPI-based project execution while staying current with CV and ML advances across Apple platforms.

Competenze

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead or Staff-level role driving scoping, KPIs, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong ability to evaluate complex ML systems, benchmark methodologies, and analyze failures.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate engineering teams and mentor peers.
