Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mission Systems Software Test and Verification Software Lead to join the Air Dominance Software Team in Berkeley, MO. You will guide the verification effort for advanced avionics software, directing a team of engineers in the design, development, and delivery of automated test products and toolsets that ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain SAP access.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5+ years leading a software development project or team.
• 3+ years designing and leading automated test system development projects.
• 5+ years of experience with full life-cycle software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and/or analysis using C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada, and/or Linux.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the execution of large-scale automated testing solutions for advanced Mission Systems software.
• Leads a team of software verification engineers responsible for the design, development, and completion of automated test and verification software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality of avionics software.
• Ensure test products verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes including formal qualification testing of all software.
• Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and reviews translation of system-level requirements into software requirements and verification models meet customer, operational and performance requirements and have clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts.
• Coordinates with SMEs, TLEs, and Software Leadership to ensure test team efforts are aligned with achieving program objectives and ensuring timely delivery of testing solutions.
