Job summary

A2G International LLC is seeking a Lead Mission Systems Operator (LMSO) to execute remote sensing wide area data collection missions as part of a multi-position aircraft crew. Deployment rotations are typically 2–3 months, with training in Titusville, FL; relocation is not required for this position.

The LMSO will support CONUS or OCONUS missions and must meet FAA requirements, possess a DoD clearance, and contribute to safety, mission planning, and data processing across multiple teams.

A2G is seeking Lead Mission Systems Operators (LMSOs) to execute remote sensing wide area data collection missions. The Lead MSO will be responsible for collecting and analyzing information while safely and effectively functioning as an aircrew member on a multi-position aircraft. Standard deployment rotations are 2-3 months.

The LMSO will work only when training or on a deployment rotation supporting CONUS or OCONUS collection missions. All other times they will be on leave without pay (LWOP), unless authorized by Management. Although training will be conducted in Titusville, FL, relocation is not required for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Possess a combination of maturity, skill and experience to function safely and effectively as an aircrew member in a tactical ISR environment


• Provide leadership, mentorship, career guidance and management of assignedMSOs while promoting a strong safety culture


• Conduct initial, recurrent, and mission qualification training


• Perform MSO standardization evaluations, line checks, andproficiencyassessments


• Operate and maintain various air surveillance and reconnaissance equipment, experience with COMMINT, ELINT, SAR/GMTI, SIGINT collection systems


• Experience with at least one known mission software suite, e.g., Orion, Claw, Weaver, Harbinger, Prospector, AIMS-HD., etc.


• Conduct real-time communication and distribution of multi-source information with aircrew and ground assets during all phases of flight via Tactical Data Link and Chat (e.g., Link-16/mIRC) or Beyond Line of Site Satellite Communications (BLoS SATCOM)


• Operate ground-based Communications systems (e.g., ICS, PRC117F, ARC 210/231) as well as Small Secure Datalink (SSDL) radios


• Participate in ground and flight operations efforts, including mission planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, communications, and safety


• Effectively communicate the capabilities and limitations of the sensors and systems


• Work closely with site operation managers, pilots, technical leads, and processing teams to plan, execute missions, and assist with data processing as needed


• Provide weekly sensor degradation logs and sensor health reports


• Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and collection equipment and complete necessary field logs and data transfer duties


• Ensure safe and secure use of company and government equipment and instrumentation


• Comply with all governing regulations and work in accordance with established standard operating procedures and practices


• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Education

Bachelor's degree with six (6)+ years of related experience. Additional years' experience may be used in lieu of a degree

• Two (2) or more years of experience supervising or leading teams and projects

FAA Requirements

• Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate

General Requirements

• US Citizen


• Minimum age of 21


• Must read, write, speak and understand English


• Possess a valid passport and state driver’s license


• Currently possess an active DoD Secret clearance, or higher


• Ability to successfully meet all contractual / program training requirements


• Knowledge of ISR collection tactics, techniques, and procedures as well as the targeting cycle


• Must be able to successfully pass background check


• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance or higher


• Prior experience as a U.S. Military SOF


• Experience with MX-15 and/or SAFIRE HD camera systems


• Recent Operational ISR experience Airborne ISR MSO within last five (5) years
