Job summary

Novva Inc. seeks an experienced Mission Critical Engineer to join our Data Center Mission Critical team.

The role focuses on safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection systems. You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot data center assets, develop preventive maintenance programs, and lead during incidents with vendors and staff to ensure rapid, coordinated responses.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in data center operations or related disciplines.
• Experience overseeing vendor activities and quality control.
• Ability to diagnose system problems and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication and leadership for routine and emergency conditions.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with CMMS, BMS, and work-order platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center infrastructure.
• Lead during critical incidents and coordinate response activities.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractor quality.
